Premium Glass Panel Zigbee 3.0 Rotary Dimmer Switch
The Bypass is an extension unit that can operate under two-wire connection with no neutral lead or three-wire connection with neutral lead. It features advanced microprocessor control and an implemented algorithm of smart light source detection. The device offers active power and energy metering functionality, as well as soft start and innovative minimum dimming level and startup brightness setting functions.
As a dimmer, the Bypass can operate under various loads, including conventional incandescent and HV halogen light sources, ELV halogen lamps and dimmable LED bulbs (with electronic transformers), MLV halogen lamps (with ferromagnetic transformers), dimmable LED bulbs, and dimmable compact fluorescent CFL tube lamps. The supported dimmable light sources have a power factor of greater than 0.5 and a minimal power of 3VA using the Bypass, depending on the type of load.
The ZigBee knob glass panel smart dimmer is compatible with universal standard Zigbee hubs and can be controlled by a Zigbee gateway, Zigbee remote, and local rotary knob. The device also offers hands-free voice control, working with Alexa, Google Home, and Apple HomeKit (2.4GHz), though the use of an Apple certified Azoula hub (sold separately) is required for HomeKit integration.
The smart light switch is rated for 100-240VAC, 50/60Hz, with a maximum current of 2.2A and a single channel output. It supports a maximum load of 500W for incandescent and 250W for LED. The user can press the knob to turn the light on or off and turn the knob to adjust the light level from 0.1% to 100%, enabling the setting of minimum brightness and startup brightness. The Bypass supports resistive, capacitive, and inductive loads.
The ZigBee end device supports Touchlink commissioning, allowing it to directly pair with a compatible ZigBee remote without the need for a coordinator. It also supports self-forming Zigbee networks without a coordinator and the ability to add other devices to the network.
The Bypass is designed for easy installation into a standard US switch plate, working under both no neutral wiring and with neutral wiring, with self-adaptive capabilities. It also supports the find and bind mode to bind a ZigBee remote.
