The SW101 Standard Motor requires a separate smart hub to connect to all versions of Alexa and Google Assistant, while the SW201 Smart Motor (Zigbee Motor) can directly connect to 5 versions of Alexa (Echo Plus 2nd Gen, Echo Show 2nd Gen, Echo Studio, Echo Show 10, Echo 4th Gen). Other device versions and Google still need a smart hub. The SW401 Z-Wave Motor works with Hubitat and SmartThings hubs at home, and the SW501 Thread Motor works with HomeKit via the latest Thread networking technology.
For Matter-compatible SmartWings shades, you'll need a Matter-compatible smart home hub with Thread Border Router functionality. The SW301 Matter Motor can work with various certified smart home platforms, including Alexa, Google Home, and Apple Home, with compatible devices such as the Apple TV 4K, HomePod, Nest Hub, and others.
The SmartWings 5% openness light filtering window shades use UV-protected fabric to reduce glare, minimize damaging UV rays, and protect your furnishings while keeping your home cool. The shades feature a specially designed buckle that allows for easy, straight-line positioning and installation with the included 4 screws.
The motorized roller shades use a rechargeable Li-ion battery that can be used for 4-6 months after a full charge. Multiple charging options are available, including a USB-C plug charging cable or a solar panel. All 5 motor types are compatible with the SmartWings Solar Panel. The electric blind motors are super quiet (less than 35dB) and have a large torque with a maximum load-bearing capacity of 5KGS. SmartWings offers a 24-month warranty on motors and controls.
The shades can be custom-made in widths from 16" to 110" and heights from 22" to 148". Valance and bottom rod are also customizable. Orders will be processed automatically if no reply is received within 24 hours for reconfirmation. These SmartWings smart shades are easy to install, requiring only straight-line positioning and the included 4 screws, which can be completed in 10-20 minutes. They support both ceiling and side wall mounting.
