THIRDREALITY DOOR SENSOR The THIRDREALITY Door Sensor can directly work with compatible ECHO devices. You can monitor every door and window in your home and create routines to send messages to your smartphone when the door or window is open. You can also create routines that are triggered by the on/off status of the door sensor.
Safeguard your home when you are away on business or vacation - the sensor will automatically push instant notifications to your smartphone immediately. You can also view the history records of the smart door sensor on your smartphone.
The Door Sensor supports two installation modes - you can use double-sided tape or screws to install it (both are included in the box). It uses two AAA standard batteries, which can last up to two years and are easy to replace.
EXPANDED SMART HOME CAPABILITIES The Door Sensor is ZIGBEE STANDARD COMPATIBLE, working with compatible Zigbee hubs or Echo devices with Zigbee hub built-in, such as Echo (4th Gen), Echo Plus (1st Gen and 2nd Gen), Echo Studio, Eero 6, Eero Pro 6, Home Assistant, SmartThings 2015/2018, Aeotec, Hubitat, Homey Bridge, Homey Pro, Third Reality Hub and Third Reality Smart Speakers.
HASSLE-FREE SETUP: The Door Sensor installs in just a few seconds. Simply ensure the device is in pairing mode, and the compatible Echo device will automatically discover it by voice command: "Alexa, discover devices".
MORE FUN WITH ALEXA ROUTINES: Using the Alexa app, you can create your own routines triggered by the door or window being opened, such as turning on a light, sending an alert to your phone, or having Alexa make a voice alarm or joke.
UPGRADED THIRD REALITY APP AND SKILL FUNCTIONS: When connected to the Third Reality Hub/Speaker, you can check the battery level in the app and replace the batteries in time. You can also view the history records to know when the sensor has detected movement and deal with it accordingly. Enabling the Third Reality Skill in the Alexa app will give you low battery warnings by email.
EXPANDED SMART HOME INTEGRATION: Enabled by the Smart Bridge MZ1 (sold separately), the Door Sensor integrates with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa (Smart Speaker required), and SmartThings, allowing for easy control and monitoring. It also supports over-the-air (OTA) software updates for effortless firmware upgrades.
